Hunts County Squash Club (HCSC) was founded in 1967, and we are one of the most active squash clubs in Cambridgeshire.  Our club prides itself in catering for all needs from beginner to professional, and is proud to run a full calendar of club tournaments annually.  These range from handicaps, doubles & vets to the club championships.  All of events are fully inclusive and open to any member of the club.

HCSC has flourished throughout its history.  Many club members have competed at county, area, national and international standards over all age groups.  The club currently hosts both the Junior & Senior County Closed Championships, Cambridge Cup Finals, training events and much more.

We have 4 men's and 1 ladies' teams competing in the Cambridgeshire squash leagues.  Matches are played every week all over the county.  A very high standard of squash can be seen in the top divisions of which Hunts County have been winners in past years.

In 2006 the HCSC partnered with The Sports Academy (TSA) which was founded in 1962. The Sports Academy became a Community Interest Company in 2016 (SACIC)

To celebrate this partnership a fourth exhibition squash court was added in April 2006.  The first to be built in Cambridgeshire for a number of years it boasts a seating capacity in excess of 125 spectators, with front and rear wall video facilities for both coaching and recording of major events and under floor heating for controlled temperatures.  The court is approved by England Squash as a venue to hold national training days and open tournaments.

Our squash coaching is led by the TSA Managing Director Colin Griggs (ES&R Level III Coach) supported by Head Coach Robert Dadds (ES&R Level III Coach & Professional PSA player) and a supporting assistant coaching team.

The team trains the "up and coming" youngest players, many of whom go on to future success at County and National Level.  There are some eighty young players in SACIC programmes at the club, with a number of juniors in the UK top 20 at many age groups.

With the fourth court, a Pro shop was built which is run by Colin Griggs and stocked by Harrow Sports stocking a full range of Harrow rackets, clothing & accessories.

Bill Bremner is the Club Admin Manager. Bill looks after the membership and bookings for the HCSC as well as assisting SACIC team with the coaching programmes and day to day club activities.
