Nadine El-Refee, currently ranked 15 in England in the girls U-13, continued her fine form in the opening event of the Peter Nicol Series. Ever improving, through constant training at the club, Nadine is steadily heading  towards her goal of getting into the top 5 in England by the end of the season.

Nadine, aged 12, had a good run through to the final where she came up against some stubborn opposition. Losing the first, here is what nadine's mum Molly had to say, " After a tough first, Nadine seemed to wake up and played some great squash, winning the next three games." Nerves obviously have a part to play in finals and Nadine conquered that after the first game showing a maturity beyond her years.

Also, the following weekend Nadine finished as the runner-up at the Finchley Manor Middlesex Junior Open in the U-15 category. This was a great achievement and we wish Nadine luck for the rest of the season. May her great form continue!
